Why We Do |
" Why we do "? The answer is simple - BECAUSE WE CARE. Education has a great effect, right from understanding the need to wear a seat belt while driving a car/ wearing a helmet while riding a bike to exercising the citizen's right- by voting. Surveys show that educated people not only earn more and have a better life, but in the true sense, they have a better quality of life and contribute more to the economy. Say, for example, a college graduate has an higher level of economic and financial stability and security, has better job satisfaction, depends less on government assistance, involves in community services, possess leadership qualities, displays more self-confidence, less criminal activity, gives importance to leisure and artistic activities, read more books, steps forward to go that extra mile to ensure a better future. Today, we are an educated group of youngsters because our parents/ who-so- ever decided that it is important to educate us. What if they had decided otherwise? What if we did not have an opportunity? If there was no helping hand? Probably, we would not be able to do what we're doing right now; there would have been no ARAN Foundation. But it is, because; someone cared. We realise the importance of education because we have reaped the benefits. We want to make sure that we help as many underprivileged students as possible so that they also come forward to educate more people, or at least educate their next generation. |
